My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The room I booked three months in advance was spacious, comfortable, and decorated with interesting old books, which I loved. However, it also happened to be the worst room I've ever experienced in NYC. The service was exceptional, with professional, friendly, and attentive staff who regaled us with stories about the lounge and its guests. The location was just fabulous, right in the heart of Midtown, close to all the hotspots. The dining options were decent, but a bit on the expensive side for what was offered.
